October 27, 2009 by Fun Fitness · Leave a Comment

Boy, wouldn’t it be so neat to be married to a sports buff, then automatically be just like him!? I do have a lot of good things in my life that I’m grateful for, but this, I have to get down to choosing for myself – that is, to be fit by working out on a regular basis. the hubby in one of his games. Forgive the blurry shots, DSLR wasn’t yet available then. teaching our lil 4yo guy to juggle. Although I’m not exactly a couch potato, it does take huge effort to get me to my

Bigben Interactive wants you to connect dumbbells, a bike to your Wii

October 12, 2009 by Fun Fitness · Leave a Comment

Bigben Interactive is set to release two new exercise games for the Wii in Europe this winter – My Body Coach and Cyberbike. The former is a workout routine which seems similar to exercise games already available for the Wii, except it eschews the Balance Board for a pair of 500g (~1 lb) dumbbells into which the Wiimotes are inserted. Unfortunately, there is no mention of further weights being available, suggesting that many will outgrow the peripherals quickly. Additionally, My Body Coach

What my inner voice will always aim for... damn you! As a twenty something woman, it often becomes second nature to question my appearance. There’s always a discussion of the pressure on women to fit into ideals with the way we look; even in the world of games, female icons such as Lara Croft become a must do costume for cosplayers because of the image of desire she has become to so many gaming men (thanks Angelina for your help on that one!). Given the fact that a large proportion of my ti

The active-play phenomenon started by Wii Sports now spreads to your whole body thanks to Wii Fit and the pressure-sensitive Wii Balance Board, which comes bundled with it. Promotional Giveaway Nintendo Wii Fit

Wii fit in Australia is now very popular video game product for this season. Every store limits only 1 per customer and most of them are run out of stock. These are all great selling points for the Wii Fit but as always it is the games that provide the underlying benefits that make the Wii Fit a great Christmas present. The games available using Wii Fit includes having to steer a ball across a wobbly platform, walking a tightrope and, the extremely addictive, ski game. Wii is not just a gaming c
